OUR PROCESS

FIRST MEETING - SITE VISIT

  • COLLECT CUSTOMER PICTURES, SURVEY, CAD, BUILDING PLANS AND IDEAS FOR PROJECT, STRUCTURES, POOL, KITCHEN AND APPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • SCOPE AND TAKE MEASUREMENTS OF THE SPACE

  • ZONING AND CODE RESEARCH

  • CLIENT BUDGET

  • TAKE PHOTOS OF THE SPACE

  • PROVIDE BALL PARK PRICING AND EXPLAIN PAYMENT BLM TERMS AND DESIGN RETAINER FEE

  • CLIENT TO PROVIDE ENOUGH INFORMATION TO ENABLE BLM TO PREPARE LAYOUTS, CONCEPTS, ETC.

  • EXPLAIN BLM ROLE IN PROJECT AND/OR COORDINATION WITH CONTRACTORS AND DESIGNERS

                FOLLOW-UP CORRESPONDENCE
                
- PROVIDE CLIENT WITH PRELIMINARY 3D PLAN WITH A BUDGET STUDY   
                - IF BUDGET STUDY IS AGREEABLE, A 2ND MEETING WILL BE SCHEDULED. A DESIGN RETAINER FEE (MIN $2,500) IS REQUIRED AT 2ND MEETING.

 

SECOND MEETING

  • REVIEW INITIAL DESIGN AND BUDGET STUDY

  • COLLECT CLIENT VISION INFORMATION, HOUZZ, PINTREST BOARDS ETC.

  • INTRODUCE THE PROJECT MANAGER, DESIGNER(S) AND OTHER KEY PEOPLE WHO WILL BE WORKING ON YOUR PROJECT.

  • EXPLAIN THE DESIGN/BUILD PROCESS, TOWNSHIP CODES AND PERMITTING, ENGINEERING

  • CUSTOMER SELECTIONS BEGIN: STRUCTURES AND DETAILS, POOL, KITCHEN, FIRE FEATURES FINISHES, MOLDING STYLES, APPLIANCES AND ACCESSORIES.

  • BLM TO PREPARE INITIAL LANDSCAPE, ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERED DRAWINGS (ONLY IF CLIENT HAS COMMITTED WITH RETAINER) 

  • SCHEDULE THIRD MEETING

  • RETAINER CHECK RECEIVED

              FOLLOW-UP CORRESPONDENCE
              - FINISH SAMPLES WILL BE GENERATED MORE DETAILED PLANS FOR PERMITTING
              - DESIGN REVISIONS WILL BE UPDATED, ARCHITECTURAL, ENGINEERING, SURVEYING, STORM WATER PLANS GENERATED.

 

THIRD MEETING – FINALIZE DESIGN

  • REVIEW REVISED DESIGN AND FINALIZE ANY OTHER CHANGES

  • PRESENT SUGGESTED FINISHES, STONE , LIGHTING, SAMPLES OF DETAIL CARPENTRY WORK,

  • COLLECT AND CONFIRM KITCHEN APPLIANCE SELECTIONS, FIRE/WATER BOWLS, FOUNTAINS, AUDIO VISUAL INFORMATION.

  • GATHER ANY OTHER INFORMATION NEEDED FOR PREPARATION OF FINAL CONTRACT AND DESIGN

  • LAYOUT DESIGN ON SITE FOR CLIENT

               FOLLOW-UP CORRESPONDENCE
                - FINAL CONTRACT AND DESIGN WILL BE SENT FOR REVIEW
                - FINAL FIELD DIMENSIONS ARE TAKEN AND CONFIRMED

 

FOURTH MEETING – SIGN OFF

  • SIGN OFF ON FINAL CONTRACT & LAYOUT DESIGN

  • SIGN OFF ON FINAL SELECTIONS: STONE, POOL, COPING, TILE, STRUCTURES AND DETAILS, AND ANY OUTDOOR KITCHEN OR FIRE FEATURE ACCESSORIES AS PER PLAN

  • COLLECT FULL DEPOSIT (50% MINUS RETAINER)

  • SCHEDULE AN APPROXIMATE START DATE. (WILL BE BASED UPON CURRENT LEAD TIME)
